Large spectrum releases – especially the reuse of the analogue television spectrum – could enable new mobile television services, further digital terrestrial television channels and more wireless broadband. The reorganisation of the existing Freeview multiplexes will allow new services, including high definition channels, on digital terrestrial television as well as on cable and satellite.
